A student is allowed to pause the assessment and continue some other time. This direct the student to a resume session. Hence, he/she is not allowed to view and solve questions and the countdown of the assessment duration stops.

Practice Resume Session
A practice that you want to resume will be listed under My Practice Tests on the dashboard.

The resume session states the information students need about the practice. These information include the description of the practice, that gives students instructions when solving the assessment, and a summary. The summary states the period of the practice, the total marks, the number of questions, the number of questions solved, the duration of the assessment, and the remaining time.

Exam Resume Session
•Resume Allowed
An exam that you want to resume will be listed under My Exams on the dashboard.

The resume session states the information students need about the exam. These information include the description of the exam, that gives students instructions when solving the assessment, and a summary. The summary states the time left for the exam to finish, the total marks, the number of questions, the number of solved questions, the remaining time since you started the exam, and the number of allowed attempts.

If you started the exam late, the remaining time will be greater than the time left for the exam to end. That's because the remaining time is compared to the duration of the exam, while the time left counts down since the exam was posted. In this case you will get a warning about the time left when you resume the exam.
•Resume Not Allowed
If an exam does not allow resume and you exit the exam without submitting your answers, you will be directed to the dashboard given this message:
On the dashboard, the exam will be listed under My Exams, however, you cannot resume.
