This page lets you manage the integration of your institution's Student Information Service (SIS) with SwiftAssess by importing a set of .csv files.

There are five types of data that can be synced to SwiftAssess:

Terms, Groups, Users, Student Enrollment, Teacher Schedules

To upload the data click  and then choose the file you wanted to upload.

Click  to sync your data to SwiftAssess.

- The maximum file size allowed to be uploaded is 5 MB.

- It's recommended to split huge files into smaller batches (ex: Split a 50,000 records csv file to three batches).

          Terms

You can import a single or multiple terms to the system which will be a core link to other modules such as groups, students, assessments, results, etc..

          Groups

Groups sections represents a class or a section. You can import groups/classes related to each school and grade.

          Users

In Users section you can import each user to their relevant "Area" and a specific role, whether Student/Admin/AreaAdmin/Parent. The "Admin" role will be further specified based on the access control rules given which can make an Admin a "teacher" or make them a "principal".

You can choose to sync all the data in the imported sheet, or just sync the updates.

          Student Enrollment

In this section, you can map each student to their respective groups and term based on the SIS enrollment information.

          Teacher Schedules

Teacher schedules automates the process of assigning proper access control rules to admins who are "teachers" based on their SIS schedule allotting.

- All text should be UTF-8 encoded.

- SIS IDs should be encoded as UTF-8, and then escaped normally for inclusion in a URL. For instance, the SIS ID CS/101.11e is encoded and escaped CS%2F101%2E11%C3%A9.

- All timestamps are send and returned in ISO 8601 format.

- Data should be provided in CSV formats not in Excel sheets. The attached excel sheets are for clarification purposes, and should be exported to CSV prior to importing into SwiftAssess.
