Program Outcomes

The program outcomes is a list of what is expected from examinees to be able to do by the end of a program. The program outcomes are linked to the program objectives of the program.

Manage program Outcomes

Manage the program outcomes of a program as follows:

1.Choose a program outcome from the list labeled "program outcomes."

2.View a list of previously added program outcomes.

3.Sort the program outcomes.

1. Click on an outcome.

2.Use to move the outcome up or down.

4.Add a new learning outcome.

1.Click "Add new Program Outcome".

2.Enter the program outcome you want to add.

3.Click .

5.Edit a program outcome.

1.Click on the program outcome in the list.

2.Edit the program outcome.

3.Click .

6.Delete a program outcome.

1.Click on the program outcome in the list.

2.Click .

•Write the "Alternate program Outcome Statement" which can be shown as an alternative to the main program outcome. (i.e. Write the same statement in a different language if you use two languages in your account)

•Specify the program outcome weight based on the total outcome weight.

For program outcome weight, you have to enter the percent of the outcome from the whole program outcomes.

•Specify the Blooms Taxonomy for this program outcome from the drop down menu choices.

If your program is learning outcomes based, you should have learning outcomes. If not, it will be optional.

•The status of the outcome can be switched between "Active" and "InActive". if the outcome is InActive, the author will see that the outcome is InActive and cannot be used in new questions.

Conditions

•The information written in program outcomes statements will be used in the indicators.
