Strand

Strands section specifies the goals and expectations of the course. The title of each strand starts with verbs (ex: Determine, Analyze, Create..) which will represent the student's actions/feedback regarding this course.

 

 

Manage Strands

Manage strands of a program as follows:

1.Choose a course from the list labeled "Course"

2.Choose a strand from the list labeled "Strand"

3.View a list of previously added strands.

4.Sort the strands.

1.    Click on a strands.

2.Use  to move the strand up or down.

5.Add a new strand.

1.Click .

2.Enter the strand you want to add.

3.Click .

6.Edit a strand.

1.Click on the strand in the list.

2.Edit the strand.

3.Click .

7.Delete a strand.

1.Click on the strand in the list.

2.Click .

 

 

 

In this sections you can:

Enter the Strand Statement in the text field.

Write the "Alternate Strand Statement" which can be shown as an alternative to the main strand. (i.e. Write the same statement in a different language if you use two languages in your account)

Enter the Strand Code.

Enter the Strand Weight, make sure to enter a value less than the program's remaining weight.

You can also Select the domain from the list of domain and click  to move it to the related domain list, You can also drag and drop the domain from a list to another.

To add all domains to the "Related Domains" list click .

 

 

The status of the strand can be switched between "Active" and "InActive". if the outcome is InActive, the author will see that the strand is InActive and cannot be used in new questions.
